ECIS already conducted various face-to-face activities but wanted to provide a series of digital courses for their member schools too; however, they had no experience in the field and weren’t sure where to start. Initially they just sought advice on a suitable learning platform, but over time after being extremely happy with the service, that expanded into requests for course creation, and ultimately a fully managed digital learning service. Â
Initially, we consulted with ECIS to gather their requirements and sourced a suitable LMS that would meet their needs. We then went on to develop a portfolio of courses for ECIS on topics such as Child Protection, Global Perspectives and Governance Foundations, among others. We worked with their subject matter experts to understand the content and the complex global audiences, establishing a need for multiple versions of child protection courses for different roles and in a number of languages including Spanish, Chinese and Arabic. We have now created over 40 courses for their platform using Articulate Storyline and Rise. Â
After launching the LMS, we helped with the initial management; in 2018, this ultimately led to us providing a fully managed service and administration of the platform. This included all end user support such as user enrolment, course management and technical troubleshooting. We have since moved ECIS to a new platform, moving all site content, course content and assessments while applying relevant settings to ensure as much consistency as possible. Â
We have been working with ECIS successfully since 2016, evolving with their changing requirements and increasing digital learners. ECIS now have over 10,000 enrolments a year and our average response and resolution time to incoming queries is consistently under 30 minutes.Â
We have received excellent feedback on the courses and outstanding and consistent feedback on our rapid and friendly support service, which has been a large part of the renewal decision for many schools. Â
